Missoni x Target

Unless you live under a rock, you’ve heard about/are anticipating/anxiously awaiting/dying over the arrival of Missoni’s latest collaboration with Target. Bloggers everywhere have been taking this collection by storm with look books and creative sketches of what to expect; but finally, the 400-piece full assemblage has been unveiled. The collection’s entirety is priced from $3-$400, thus it would be foolish not to grab everything you can. Perfect timing for back-to-school shopping and apartment redecorating. But hurry, Missoni for Target is only in stores from September 13-October 22. Here are some of my favorite, must-have-need-to-get pieces.A college dormer’s dream come true. Folders and notebooks for class, decorative storage bins to replace those dull, plastic ones (store your hair products, last season’s shoes, textbooks, etc.), and trays for your jewelry and cosmetics.

I’m a huge fan of throw pillows. I tend to purchase plain, solid down comforters and adorn the rest of my abode in colorful mis-matched throws. Missoni for Target’s throw pillows are hundreds of dollars less than original Missoni Home throws. The tea cups are perfect, especially with their storage device; and I won’t even get started with the candles, I need them all.

They’re even launching handbags, clothing, shoes, and accessories! Love these rainboots to brighten up a gloomy day. I’m dying over the flats, scarf, and gloves. Hopefully socks with platform sandals will remain a trend this season because I certainly wouldn’t mind pairing such anklets with my new Grettta platforms. Side note: I love how they’ve opted to keep the original interior tags from the classic Missoni line.

These items are pretty self explanatory and totally necessary to implement into your daily routine. Absolutely obsessed with the travel bags and makeup cases, the tote is perfect for overnight trips or lugging around heavy school books, and I can not wait to have all of these make up brushes and bags in my possession. I’ve needed new brushes for several weeks now; I’m definitely glad I waited. Oh, and the shorts? Love.

I couldn’t think of a more perfect and chic gift for a celebration or night at a friends. Love the assorted gift tags, perhaps that suggests there will be boxes in all of those wild, fun, epitome-of-Missoni patterns?

In my mind, this is the Rolls Royce of the collection. Yes, I’m sure many of you are more excited for that amazing bicycle, but this luggage makes me want to hop on a plane and travel in style. The colors, the hardware, the pattern – perfection.
